18-year-old rapper NLE Choppa — real name Bryson Potts — was arrested over the weekend in Broward County, Florida, on burglary, gun and drug charges. 

According to a police report posted online, Potts was arrested in the town of Davie, Florida, on Sunday, March 28. The details and circumstances surrounding the arrest are limited. According to reports, Potts was being held Monday morning at the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale on a $4,500 bond. 

The news of Potts’ arrest comes two years after his rise to fame. In 2020, he released his full-length debut, “Top Shotta which hit the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. In January, Potts released a mixtape “From Dark to Light” and also announced the launch of his own NLE Choppa Health and Wellness line.
